VAVE Project - Cafe interior and branding Client - Music Design Completion of Project - 2019 The CafeCafe Vave is a cafe interior design project at the request of an entertainment company, Music Design. The concept of Cafe Vave, or ‘vacation to cave’, was conceived when I thought the location of the cafe was rather reminiscent of a cave.It felt as if it could be located near a popular beach vacation spot, and I wanted to tranform it into an emotionally engaging space where people exhausted with metropolitan lifestyles can visit though as if going on a vacation. Though there was a large window, the geograhical constraints caused no lights to enter the premise at any given time of day. Thus, I removed the window for natural light to illuminate the area. the mood from at enterance. At the request of the client, the office area is well hidden from the public space. The area is shared with the kitchen, but is effectively divided so that there are no interference between the two. The hole into the office is engraved with the word 'vave'. While you are in the space, look out for the word!
